Mānoa is a bean-to-bar chocolate producer based in Hawaii where he creates socially responsible chocolate through direct trade of cocoa beans from local realities and around the world. Hawaii is the only state in the United States that can grow cocoa thanks to its tropical climate. Today Mānoa is in the top ten of bean-to-bar artisan chocolate producers in the United States.
Chocolate made from the cocoa beans of small farms in the Hilo region of Big Island, which stretches from the Wailuku River in Hakalau to the Puna district.
